Our terms and conditions of Fort Worth Stockyards Stables. It is our policy to make sure each guest has an exciting and safe experience. While potential dangers exist due to the size, power, and unpredictable nature of horses and longhorns, a few simple safety measures can ensure that the activities provided are fun and safe activities. It is our policy to: provide helmets, inspect riding areas and routinely check where riding occurs, make sure proper saddles are used and encourage riders to wear proper attire as well as supervise each trail ride.
It is company policy that each rider must have a waiver signed prior to participation. Riders have been notified of the Texas Law (Chapter 87 Civil Practice and Remedies Code) and each participant is riding at their own risk.
We do not issue refunds or exchanges. In the event your reservation needs to be re-scheduled, you must follow the re-booking link included in your confirmation email 48 hours prior to your booking time. No-shows from not rescheduling within the 48 hours are non-refundable. Voice messages and texts to reschedule are not accepted and will result in no refund.
Please be advised, we do have a 250 lb weight limit for riders. Our weight limit is for safety purposes. In the event a guide feels that safety of the rider, horse or guide is at stake we reserve the right to deny service and a refund will be issued.
You Must arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time for signing waiver verification, ride preparation and safety talk.
No Flip Flops and Long Pants are recommended!

To ensure the utmost safety for both our guests and health of our horses, Insurance dictates the following requirements for participating riders:
one rider per horse
riders must be 8 years of age or older
riders must be 250 lbs or under
riders are prohibited to ride under the influence of alcohol or any other substance
Our rides go out in all safe weather conditions whether rain or shine. If a cancellation is made by for any safety-related reason, we will diligently work to reschedule you for another ride. Unless communicated through your contact information provided, riders should expect to ride.
We won’t be held responsible for lost/damaged/stolen electronics or other valuables. Please secure all electronics like GoPros, Camera’s, iPhones etc properly before you ride out.
We will try our best to reschedule rides based on availability. We reserve the right to withdraw any person who in our opinion is likely to endanger themselves or others. We also reserve the right to cancel a ride if we become concerned for any reason for the safety of anyone on the ride. Changes to reservations must be made via the link provided in your booking email at least 48 hours before departure (voice messages or texts are not accepted for reservation changes and will not receive a refund)
Every rider MUST have a release form on file. Copies will be provided to you at your request. Canceling your horse ride affects our business significantly as we have often turned away customers to secure your ride. Most of our guests reserve their horse ride well in advance so it is difficult to replace a reservation at late notice and for this reason our “No Refund” policy is strictly adhered to.
